Sydney's Birthday

Sydney turned 3 on Tuesday. She's obsessed with Disney princesses so we got her some princess barbies which kept losing their accessories which frustrated Sydney. We went to lunch at Carl's Jr. with her cousins so she got to play on the playland. That night we went to the Surf and Swim with Tim and Christine's family. She had a blast. Oh, and Sydney got a bike from Bamma and Bampa which she absolutely loves!

The Aquarium

Bamma and Bampa (Lindy's parents) took us to the aquarium for Sydney's birthday. By the end Sydney was so onry. She wasn't able to touch the sting rays because they were to far down in the water and her arm wasn't long enough, that is if she didn't want to get the rest of her body wet. Savannah was happy the entire time, and Logan slept through it all.

Busy summer

I'm sorry about not posting anything. Its been very busy to say the least. We had the baby (just in case you haven't read the last post, I won't put the details here). I've been working at a year round school. We've been trying to get somethings fixed with our house (like the fact we have no grass in our backyard). And just trying to keep up with our girls. They keep us exhausted constantly. By the time we get them taken care of (bathed, fed, put to bed, etc) we just don't want to do hardly anything so we watch movies, level our toons on WoW, eat orange floats, or read to each other (I'm in the middle of reading Twight to Lindy). We keep busy, oh and I got offered a calling at church, but I haven't been sustained yet, but it'll keep me very busy. So, I'll try to drop a line with a picture here and there.

It's a boy (picture version)

Okay, here are the pictures that you've been waiting for. I'll put some captions for each picture, but if you are anything like me, you'll just look at the pictures and ignore all the text anyway.



Logan was born on May 22nd (barely missing mom's b-day) and he was 8 lbs 6 oz, 21.5 in long.


Things went really smoothly. Lindy only had to push for a couple of minutes.


His cry is so sad, he squeaks when he crys.

Sydney's first encounter with Logan. She was a little stand-offish and after a couple of minutes she held up her hand to say "I'm done."


Savannah was a hoot when she visited. She wanted to see and poke Logan really bad, but she was sick so we made her keep her distance. Here she is demonstrating her phone skills. She mostly just says "Hi da" over and over again.


Sydney warmed up to Logan. When grandma (Bamma) was going to bring Sydney to visit, Sydney said "See mom and baby Logan?". She loves her little brother. And she enjoyed being with her family.

Here is Elyse, Ryan, and Kelsey (lindy's siblings). They are really excited to have a nephew. Kelsey and Elyse have been trying to come up with a nick name. They were thinking about calling him pony boy. You'll have to ask them to find out why. Ryan is excited to have someone to play video games with. (not for a few years Ryan)

Logan doesn't like his car seat all that much. This was the first time he got to be put into it.

I just absolutely love my little girls. Sydney is starting to look so old. I can't hardly believe it. Part of me wants her to stay 2 years old forever, the other part of me wants her out of diapers, lol.
I'm super excited to have a son. I love the kid to pieces.

It's a boy!

Well, I'm at a hospital computer, so I can't post pictures yet, but our baby was born last night. Logan James was born at 7:14 last night, 8 lbs 6 oz, 21 1/2 in. Everything went really smoothly. We're really excited. Once we get home we'll upload some pictures.

Still waiting for the baby

Well, any day now. We're not impatient mind you, just use to having our children come early. So any day now and our bouncing baby boy should be here.

We all could use a little stress relief
