Catch up: July Bateman/Williams b-day party

Last year we had a party with Bob's family around the 24th of July for the birthdays. Here is the snake cake Christine made for Matthew and Sydney.




Yes, we bought a doll house for Sydney for her polly pockets to go in but who knew how long it would take to paint all of the pieces and build it. It's still not finished, but I will try to finish it before her next b-day.

I don't know what's up with my glare. I must have been mad at Bob or something. (Anyone who knows me knows that I don't hide my emotions well.)

Bob's family always does crazy fireworks. It's not a party in July for the Batemans/Williams without someone almost catching on fire. The pictures of the actual fireworks didn't turn out so well, hence none of them are shown here.

Catch up: Sydney's 4 yr b-day in Texas

So we were in Texas with my uncle's family on Sydney's birthday (July 8) last year. My aunt Manou planned a fun full day of visiting water falls and water holes that we could play in. Thanks Manou for the fun day.










It was a long day. The kids were tired but had a lot of fun. They all fell asleep on the way home, well, Logan fell asleep before we even got to the car at the end of the day.




This is the Lady bug cake my aunt Manou bought for Sydney. It looked even cuter before it fell and got squished in the packaging.

Catch up: Sydney's 4 yr b-day

I figured while I'm on birthdays I might as well finally post Sydney's 4th birthday, which was back on July 8 of last year. She got her presents from my parents and my grandma Joyce in the end of June since we left on vacation on July 3rd. She got this red cozy coupe from my parents, but the girls kept fighting over it so we had to get Savannah an early birthday present a pink princess coupe. (See, I'm not totally bad, Savannah's b-day was only in January, lol.)

On the day before we left, July 2nd we had a party with Sydney's friend Apri. We had cake and ice cream. Then we took them out to lunch at Carl's Jr. Then we went to the Treehouse Museum Apri's mom has a pass there too so went together often, that is until she up and moved to Kentucky :(




Of course like a bad mom I forgot to take the camera inside the Treehouse. So this is the tree the girls stand by when I'm putting Logan in the car. (I have them touch the tree so they don't run out into the street, and they think it's funny to run around it.)

Sydney's spotlight

At Sydney's preschool the kids get a spotlight for their birthday. Since Sydney's birthday is in the summer she was given a different day in the year to do hers. They get to bring pictures and their parents tell the preschoolers all about them. They also get to bring a treat, and get to pass out the papers and be the leader for the day. Sydney sure had a fun day!


(My aunt Sandra recently had surgery on her hip so hence the pillows on her chair.)

Savannah's B-day: Part 3

We had Bob's family B-day party at our house the next Sunday. Savannah is the only birthday in January so it was all about her. Savannah loves Little Einsteins so this was my attempt at a Rocket cake.
